Description: Our non profit organization is where we make digital greeting, get well, holiday, celebration, birthday, and personal cards for people to get for free! Every time someone makes a card online, companies such as Hallmark, Papyrus, and Shutterfly will donate $2.00 to our organization. All the profits goes towards charities that focus on helping people in need of care (elderly homes, children’s hospitals, etc.) The way our site works is that a customer can email our organization with what you want on the card, who it is for, and the subject of the card. The more detail given, the more accurate we can make your cards. Then, we email you the online card and you can either print, save, or email it to your friends and family. You have to email us with a description of what you want on the card and who it is for. Then, we digitally make it for you and can either email it back or print and send through the mail. Our non profit organization is fit for any audience because all we want to do is help people in need of care. Our cards may not be professional, but they certainly are made with a lot of love and care for our customers.
Goal: Our goal is to help people in need of health care that cannot afford it. We hope to raise enough profits to build a foundation to help these people. Did you know that about 440,000 people in the USA are hospitalized and about 16.7% of those people are not insured with health care? It is important to realize that not a lot of people are very fortunate to be able to afford health care. As Americans, it is out responsibility to help those in need and this is why we have started our charity Cards for Care.
Target Audience: Our target audience ranges from children to senor citizens. We believe that everyone should be able to buy our cards and we will specialize them for all age groups. Since our cards are bought online, we expect most of the buyers to be teens and older. For those receiving the cards, we are targeting people of all ages. Cards for Care will make a special card for anyone you want, regardless of their age! Our target audience also includes local card companies such as Hallmark, Shutterfly, and Papyrus to help us with our project. - Teenagers & kids - Parents - Grandparents - Local Card Companies - Everyone!
Future Projects: We plan to set up many different fundraisers to raise money for different charities of care. We are donating to charities that focus on the care of both children and adults. The money we raise will hopefully help these organizations. Some future projects we have is to sell cards outside of large enterprises to spread awareness of what conditions these charities have to face. Hopefully, this will make people buy cards for the sake of charity and we can raise enough money to make a difference. Another project we are organizing is going to schools to show kids how some people have to live. We might even have them make cards and sell them as well. This will give a hands on activity for the students as well as raising money for our cause.
Volunteers:Cards for Care is run by students from Bedminster Township Public School. We are looking to expand our organization to other schools and encourage kids to volunteer their time to help people with less advantages than we have. Wealthier schools like Bedminster Township can afford to help others and support organizations such as ours, Cards for Care. This site is currently run by three eighth grade students and we are hoping to make a change. Our volunteers can help both over the Internet by making cards or coming to events to spread awareness about the less fortunate. Our organization hopes to help many people by making cards.

We are currently three eighth grade students that go to Bedminster Township School and would like to make a difference for those who can not be as lucky as us to have health care and proper medications. Some people may not be able to afford the care given to them and this is why we have started our organization Cards for Care.
Success Stories: In the past, the three of us have been involved in many different charity events. As a part of eighth grade curriculum this year, each of us had to complete 40 or more hours of community service. This included things such as adult day care centers, children's hospitals, children's art museums, music programs, and school related community service. We each have the experience of helping people. We have also each donated money to St. Jude's Children hospital and a charity for kids in need of money and food and a charity that involves breast cancer patients. We would like to help raise money through Cards for Care and be able to set up our own organization to help people with no health care and help people in need.
